• Battlefield 2 v1.5 BETA before x-mas!
DICE employee Bazajaytee, have on the EA forums, announced that EA and DICE will release a BETA of the upcoming v1.5 Battlefield 2 Patch before christmas. The patch will be puplic so that as many as possible can test it.
Originally announcement:
"Yep there will be a public Beta before final so you can see what we have been working on. Some things you'll see/experience and other things you won't as its behind the scenes to secure Battlefield 2 accounts and playing experiences. The plan is to get it out before Christmas yes."
"The beta would be for everyone that wants to install it, the more people that do the better feedback we get and we don't have an update 1.30 again. That update alone set us on the road of public beta to stop it from happening in another update."
It looks like EA and DICE have finally opened their eyes up for the players, and want to support the game.
(I played the game today after some monthes break from it. When you have played some other games BF2 seems power rushed, even with so many patches, it feels like an alpha release of a game, so i really hope the v1.5 fixes some bugs, but i doubt it make the game really playable, since they haven't been able to do so before..)
Grand theft Auto IV have been a top game on consoles for quite some time now and finally were getting closer to the PC release (3rd of december 2008 ). The release date was originally planned to be the 21st of november, but it was postponed. But is that really that bad? For me it is becouse i have been waiting for this since the console version was released, but it turns out that some more features have been added in the meantime, (like that is the reason for moving the release date, BAH ). Well what have been added?
First of all Rockstar have doubled the number of players possible at a multiplayer server (some of the gamemodes). On console there are only 16 player servers, but at the pc version, servers with 32 players will be possible.
Secondly, they have choosed to use the unfriendly DRM protection system, which give the following issues:
You have to be online to activate and play the game.
You have to have the dvd in the driver to be able to play no matter what.
When you uninstall the game (why would you do that) it leave files you then manually have to delete (not talking about saved-games).
For those of you who don't know GTA IV (you don't exist). The game takes place in "Liberty City" (New York City). Where you play as a russian mafia kind a guy, who drives around and basically shoots at people..
We are sad to announce that our counter strike team no longer are a part of =VIP=, we have for a long period of time been trying to get this to work but now we have decided to end it here. We have payed for server, premium membership on esl, because the team was one of the best polish teams as it is now. But we have been contacted by people regarding our team and regarding their language, and behaviour during matches. In =VIP= we have clear rules about behavior and language, so this is the final post our polish CS TEAM.

3 Words: Teamwork - With Teamwork you are failed and will for sure end up with zombies crawling on ya. Survival - Fight to survive, otherwise you will end up doomed like they all. Thinking - Use your brain, without it you wont last two seconds.
The game is focused on cooperation and team play; coloured outlines of teammates are visible through walls to help players stick together and coordinate their movement, and Survivors can be knocked down by the Infected and only helped up by another player. If a teammate is knocked down after being helped up twice, without tending to his wounds in between, the player will experience distorted black-and-white vision, and the next takeout will kill the player, forcing them to wait until the survivors find a safe room before respawning. There are respawn areas scattered around the map that can be opened to find respawned survivors.
Versus mode
Left 4 Dead will introduce a new 8-player versus experience. In the deathmatch Versus mode, four additional players can take control of powerful Infected with unique abilities, amongst the other AI-controlled Infected. The Infected players are randomly assigned which boss Infected to play as, which changes with each spawn. The Tank only spawns once per level, excluding the finales. Infected players will receive a message which informs the players who will become the Tank. The Witch is the only Boss-Infected that cannot be controlled by players. While playing as a Boss-Infected, the player will also have a limited "squad" leadership among the normal Infected. The Infected have the ability to see Survivors through the walls at a certain range if the Survivors are running, have the flashlight on, or are talking. The Infected can also see in the dark, unlike the Survivors. Infected spawn ahead of the Survivors and can, if they stay still, see a marker for their likely path of advance so they can set up ambushes. Throughout levels, Infected-only ways up buildings are marked with symbols. These can be climbed and used for ambushes, especially with the Infected immunity to falling damage. Versus mode is only playable on No Mercy and Blood Harvest.
Allot of you have maybe tried the beta, but now the game is coming to denmark and this gives us a chance to start up in a new game. The question left is: Do people like it or not?.
